Creating a safe, supportive space for children, teens, and young adults to feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.
Ages 10+
In-person in Highland Village and Virtually anywhere in Texas.
I believe everyone should have access to the care that they need. They deserve a safe and supportive space where they can feel heard, understood, and accepted for who they are. My goal is to not only create a warm and supportive environment, but also one where clients can truly be themselves, free from fear of judgment or bias. I want to work collaboratively with clients to understand how they navigate life’s challenges, as well as the emotions and needs that come with them.

My counseling approach is warm, compassionate, and client-centered, as I want my clients to feel comfortable throughout a vulnerable process. Furthermore, I want my clients to feel comfortable enough to bring their authentic selves into the counseling space. This allows my clients to freely share their experiences without judgment, and with curiosity instead. I believe that counseling is a collaborative process that establishes a foundation of trust, understanding, and genuine connection.
I am interested in helping clients better understand how their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences all connect and play a role in their daily functioning. I believe that developing an understanding of the connection can help clients identify what they need and how they can develop healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.
My goal is to meet clients where they are currently in their lives, regardless of their age or circumstances. I believe that it is important to consider both the whole person and the environments they navigate. I value creating a safe space where every client can feel respected, heard, and, most importantly, involved in their own counseling process. Additionally, I recognize the importance of factors such as family and relationships that can play a role in a client’s experiences.

I am currently a graduate student seeking licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Angelo State University, where I am part of the Professional Counseling Master’s Program. I have earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Oklahoma.
Throughout my graduate program, I have developed a strong interest in working with children, teens, and young adults who have experienced or are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, emotional dysregulation, and eating-related concerns.
As I continue to develop my counseling skills, I hope to meet each client where they are with openness, compassion, patience, and a willingness to understand their story and experiences. I have always believed that seeking support or help is a meaningful step many people may fear taking, and I feel honored to walk alongside my clients as we work together through difficult experiences.
